Backstory: Beth moved around with her single mum a lot as a kid and when she turned 16, her mum took her to a diner and excused herself to go to the toilet, leaving 20$ on the counter and vanishing forever. Since then she’s mostly been fending for herself
Beth might have started out as a groupie, but she’s sometimes too crafty for her own good. When she’d overhear at her favourite local venue (Gin a Go Go) that the merch person hadn’t show up, she’d volunteer immediately and bit by bit she befriended the showrunner Trevor. Never really gave a last name, backstages are after all all on first name basis. She quickly became somewhat of his assistant and suddenly she was surrounded by all this upcoming starts, well and a lot of drinks and drugs. She wasn’t just there to sleep around, despite her hypersexuality, no she’d also become a bit of an agony aunt for the musicians and helped here and there when they were stuck with their lyrics. He eventually made a run for it when they found out he’d been shaving off from the earnings of everyone. The club being at a loss after his disappearance, the easiest thing was to just pile it all on Beth and that’s how she became the official showrunner and manager of some up and coming bands that she occasionally sheperds on small tours.
