Appearance: Dark brown eyes. Dark brown hair, nearly black at the roots, with brown highlights. Naturally his hair has a little wave, but he curls it to give it more volume. He always has his hair styled curly and the length to his shoulders. His style is 70s funk inspired! He wears brightly colored button ups with high waisted pants. He loves having patterns on his shirts. He’s short so he tends to wear shoes with a little bit of a lift or heel.

Backstory: Martín is from a farm town in Northern California. Nothing of interest in the surrounding areas. His family was very strict, as soon as he turned 18 he started paying rent and other expenses for the family. Growing up Martín was always the black sheep of the family. He starts dating his best-friend Jeremy in high-school, both of them stay in the closet for safety. After high school graduation things spiral out of control for Martín. He planned on moving out with Jeremy. Jeremy was a much better student than Martín and was headed to college. But Martín’s grandfather became sick the year Martín was saving up to go. Martín felt hopeless. His family guilt tripped him into staying. Jeremy left without him and broke up with him. Feeling lost and alone, Martín was primed to be taken under the wing of Amelia. Amelia was a thousand year old vampire who had the appearance of a woman in her late 30s. She comforted Martín, bought him gifts, and sweet talked him into letting her take him away from his small town. Martín gleefully let Amelia turn him and ran off with her. It didn’t take long for Amelia’s mask to slip. Once Martín was turned she wasn’t so sweet. Amelia was a cruel woman who enjoyed torturing her victims and loved “the blood of the innocent”. She would frequently play mind tricks on Martín that would make him forget days at a time. Martín escaped from her one night while they were on the prowl. He took the train to San Giles where he swore to dedicate the rest of his afterlife to what made him happy. He’d refuse to let anyone try to change him again.
