Backstory: Not much is known about Zeryx’s youth, other than that he was a very violent child, quick to lash out at anyone who had wronged him. He quickly learned that the world wasn’t fair, and isolated himself from other people. He began to train himself day in day out on covert tactics and hand to hand combat. Occasionally picking up skills during small thefts and scuffles. “Kill them before they even know you’re there” quickly became his motto. The first few attempts were sloppy, resulting in him almost getting caught several times. But, gradually, he got better at ut, good enough to make a living off of it and keep a steady supply of contracts. However, in 1973 he would make a fatal mistake… His target was a big business competitor to the contractor, he had snuck into the bedroom through the window to find his quarry lifeless on the bed, mouth agape in horror, then, excruciating pain. In his few seconds of surprise a pencil had been jammed deep into his eye, and the culprit? None other than the targets wife, Elise. Zeryx had near accepted his fate when he awoke in the same room, Elise stood before him, welcoming him the Vampire World
