A fashionable young vampire on sabbatical in San Giles. Actual occupation is a mystery but he’s housesitting for a “rich uncle” when not busy being arm candy or engaging in gossip. Friendly, a flirt and surprisingly knowledgable about history. Throws one hell of a party. Here for a good time not a long time.

Name: Sidney Bel
Vampire (Toreador)
Age: 22 (Turned 1798, actually 216)
Birthday: March 9 1776
Gender/Orientation: Male (Genderfluid) / Bisexual & Demisexual
Profession: Unknown
Abilities: Fortitude, Presence (including a heightened form), Celerity, and Domination.
Appearance: Amber eyes. 5’9″. Dark brown hair with blond highlights, curly, cut into a fro-hawk, long in the front and back. Eclectic style as he’s been around a while – partial to vintage military styles, 80s punk fashion and frilly things. Often wearing a black leather jacket and a leather collar…or very little if poolside. Has multiple piercings.
Backstory: Sidney was turned in 1798 by his sire in exchange for the power to get revenge on his half uncle: a man who single handedly destroyed his life out of spite. The rest of the years leading up to 1980 were very eventful – he was a tailor/courtier at mollyhouse in England, fought in the Civil War, and wiped out an entire mining town thanks to his new childe Annie. This mishap resulted in working as an enforcer during the 1920s in New York and Chicago as punishment, but he met the second love of his life Valentine and turned him before the pair and his crew left overseas to fight in WWII on a dare. When he returned after the war, he reunited with a sweetheart he met in the 1920s and stayed with her until her death in 1980. Then he, his boyfriend Valentine, and his crew headed out west again to Seattle. Around 1980, Sidney’s crew had a disagreement with local werewolves that led to the death of his right hand man and best friend of 200 years, John. When he was about to execute the guilty werewolf, Valentine stopped him, claiming that it was actually one of the newer recruits that had arranged the murder to start a turf war. Sidney desperate for John’s revenge ends up fighting with Valentine. Feeling betrayed, he breaks up with Valentine and banishes him from the crew before uprooting them all to California. However, when he learns the truth about John’s murder- Valentine was right – he turns back to apologize. But he’s too late – Valentine is long gone with the message to deal with his issues. So without word to the rest of his crew, he heads to California, stopping in San Giles for a meal (one absolutely terrible Chad Wagner – who defrauded half the city and won’t be missed) with the plan to head further south looking for Annie Mitchell in the hopes of fixing a century old mistake. However, his plans quickly changed.
