Ethan was born at the turn of the 19th century. A rambunctious child, he dreamed of following in the footsteps of the frontiermen and living in the wild. He packed up and ran away from home at age 12. 10 years later, he was turned, and wreaked havoc on many a small town during his nightly hunts before he was approached by another vampire (Ricardo?), who attempted to show Ethan the ropes. While trying to assimilate back into society, Ethan met a young man and fell in love. Recklessly, he turned the man so that they could be together forever, but the man hated him for it. Something changed in Ethan after that. The carefree young man became bitter and sadistic. Nowadays, he lures his prey with the same easy charm he had in his (relative) youth. He hasn’t turned anyone since, not until he tried to woo a woman who seemed immune to his charm. He figured turning her would be fine, he might even get something out of it. When she asked him why, he said “love never lasts. but hate? hate’ll keep ya goin’.”
