Backstory: Ameilia had always had a taste for blood even before she was turned. Duels, public executions, or any form of socially acceptable violence were Ameilia’s favorite forms of entertainment. As a wealthy woman in Victorian England she sent her children away for schooling and had other people take care of them. Her husband had many affairs but she never cared for him. She was turned by an older vampire who she still works with time to time. Before she left her home she killed her husband and vanished. She keeps to the shadows.
Ameilia often kills for the thrill. As the years went by it took more to thrill her. She enjoys making her victims suffer slowly before feeding. She has a handful of lovers that she keeps to help her with these kills. She visits America in 1910. Her accent is faint because she tries to hide it. She meets Martín while exploring along the west coast. Originally she saw him as a perfect kill, a young man who no one would come looking for. But on their “date” Martín reveals how lonely he is and she knows she can use that. Ameilia dates Martín for two months before turning him. She love bombs him and presents being a vampire as a blissful life. Martín falls for easily and Ameilia takes him with her. With new lovers it was usually easy to get them to kill in sadistic ways right at the start. But Martín didn’t have the stomach for it. No matter how matter how gentle or angry she got he wouldn’t due what he was told. Annoyed, Ameilia used her presence on him to get him to do what she wished. He fought it constantly, but she was able to keep him under control for a week. She lost her grip when cornered by a vampire hunter. As soon as Martín awoke from the fog instead of helping her he ran off. No other vampire that she has sired has ever denied her. She’s not looking for him, but if she ever stumbles across Martín again she’ll want to get under his skin.
